About Dani

Dani Cuomo is a fully qualified McTimoney Animal Practitioner and Freelance riding instructor based in Derbyshire. She completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Science at Hartpury College in 2009 and went on to study an MSc in McTimoney Animal Manipulation which she completed in 2012. Dani has also studied an Equine Sports Massage course, she covers Derbyshire, and parts of Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Cheshire and Leicestershire for both teaching and McTimoney work.

From a very young age horses have been Dani’s life and she has competed up to Advanced level British Eventing with her self produced horse Ballin Willow on which she has represented her country three times in Junior and Young Rider European Championships.

Dani has also competed up to foxhunter level show jumping on both horses and ponies and Medium level in British Dressage.

Having competed in many disciplines and owned horses since the age of seven years old Dani can use her fundamental experience and knowledge in which she has gained over the years to understand and be aware of factors that compromise and reduce an animals ability to perform. She uses the skill that she has gained in conjunction with veterinary surgeons, saddle fitters and farriers to gain the most successful and effective treatment. Dani appreciates and recognizes the importance of professionals working together as a team to ensure optimal heath, soundness and performance of your animal.
